Barcelonas 3-2 win over Real Madrid is the biggest result of a week that only featured five league matches. With the win, Barcelona takes possession of first place, though Real Madrid has played one fewer game. If the season were to end on Sunday, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid would all qualify for the Champions League. Sevilla would clinch spot in the play-in round to get into the Champions League, while Villarreal and Real Sociedad would clinch spots into the Europa League. Sporting Gijon, Granada and Osasuna would each be relegated into the second division as it stands.
