Please note:Issuing a certificate showing federal tax lien on file $6 fee per request. Requesting a copy of a federal tax lien $5 per copy. Copies of documents costs $1 per page – certifications cost $5 per document copied. Any page longer than 14 inches and any attached piece will be considered an additional page. Any document larger than 11 by 14 inches will be required to have original size copies to accompany it.

The Linn County Recorders Office is located on the second floor of the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center. This office handles real estate records; birth, death and marriage records; and boat, snowmobile, and all-terrain vehicle registrations and titles. In addition, the office sells hunting, fishing and trapping licenses, including deer and turkey tags.
